Programs & Resources
OAI Tutoring⁺ Program
The OAI Tutoring⁺ Program is designed to foster academic success and inclusivity. All ICS students have access to personalized, high-quality tutoring, focusing on a broad range of subjects in ICS lower-division courses. This program ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed in their academic endeavors.
OAI Workshops
The OAI Workshops are designed to provide incoming freshmen and transfer ICS students with the foundational skills crucial for academic success. Each quarter focuses on a key area: Debugging Techniques (Fall), Introduction to GIT (Winter), and Code Review Best Practices (Spring). These workshops enhance the educational journey for new students, ensuring they are well-prepared to tackle the challenges and opportunities in their academic careers.
Diversity Conferences
The OAI Diversity Conferences scholarship offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to participate in diversity-focused conferences in computing. Our annual participation in notable conferences such as the Grace Hopper Celebration, Tapia Conference, and Great Minds in STEM Conference, has opened doors to invaluable experiences. Students have the opportunity to connect with top-tier companies, gain insights into graduate programs, and build a community with peers. These conferences bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world opportunities in both industry and academia.
